Define DCC Arc and/or Circle Orientation IJK Snapping to std Plane

CMM-M Ver 3.7.1

I am trying to enter IJK values for a Man DCC ARC and it is 3.25° off the ZX plane, I enter:

Center
X 1.2600
Y 0.663170
Z -0.39300

Orientation Plane
I 0.000
J 0.998391
K 0.000

and Click create path, and CMM-M snaps the orientation plane to ZX, and the arc I want to measure is not on the ZX plane
It is on the IJK that I want to specify... How do I keep CMM-M from going to the ZX plane, and use my IJK ??

Are you teaching feature by Define DCC or Joystick? For Define DCC the values you specify will be used, for Joystick teach the IJK vector will be normalized to nearest work-plane unless you specify 4th plane or use Relative Measure.

I am using Define DCC and it is still snapping to the nominal plane

I just noticed... your IJK vector is not normalized. Since the I & K vector component is 0.0 the J component is automatically normalized to 1. If you want an orientation other than ZX then you need to enter I & K component for that vector - i.e. probably really small number like 0.003...

and CMM-Manager WILL NOT ACCEPT MY NUMBERS and rounds to 1.000

CMM-Manager (nor any other reputable 3D software) only accepts Normalized Vectors. Watch this video for an explanation - https://youtu.be/7fn03DIW3Ak

Your vector:
I 0.000
J 0.998391 <----------
K 0.000
...is NOT NORMALIZED.

That I and/or K component need a non-zero value or the J value will simply normalize to 1.
