Interesting! I have a PH20 also. I guess it may be something with the license code but I am not sure. I guess you are going to have to contact Nikon's Helpdesk @ (810) 220-4380 or helpdesk.nm-us@nikon.com

Hi Jeff,

In order to activate the acceleration options you would need to go into preferences and set it on there. It is a global setting and we recommend leaving it off. You could adversely impact your machine accuracy if you changed that to faster than it was successfully calibrated at.

Regarding the bulk of your question, I would like to see Nate's follow=up to it. He is currently out of the country but will be checking the forums remotely.

@jswope, safe practice will be to perform all your numeric dcc adjustment in cmm-m as supposed to ucc server since your working values are always updated upon connection.

I agree with that statement about CMM Manager updating UCC Server, however it has been my understanding that UCC Server handles the machine controls and probe management through I++ communication. In this case it seems to be working the other way around which is what caught me by surprise. I totally forgot about the Acceleration preference with the Preference Settings because usually UCC Server handles the machine controller through I++.
