Hello anyone,
We are running an old version of CMM Manager but my question is very easy. When reporting distance between diameters, what is the difference between XY, 3D and XA? My 2 dia aren't on the same centerlines and the drawing just wants distance in X or Y. XA is the only one that works but I thought absolute meant actual distance from hole to hole, and XY was distance from hole to hole in X or Y.
Thank you,
Bob

Re: Version 2.0 reporting distance between
XA, YA, & ZA give distance along single axis in regards to current Ref Frame.
XY, YZ, & ZX give 2D distance projected to respective work-plane in regards to current Ref Frame.
3D gives the 3D distance between features regardless of current Ref Frame.
