DCC Parameters Overwrite

Post by robyc01 » Thu Jun 12, 2014 3:51 pm

When I pin cloud-measure so that my settings will carry over to the next selection, dcc parameters do not carry.

I agree. Neither in v3.3 or v3.4

Is this true for all measured features or unique to Clouds? I would say just add a DCC Settings command before the measured Cloud(s) and then another afterwards to reset the DCC parameters back to original values.

See lines 006 and 010 of the program below. I like this method better because you see a record of the DCC parameters being changed when reviewing the Program Database without having to open each individual Operation to look for DCC Overwrite.

Very nice, I did not know about that function. I agree with the concept of knowing where the DCC settings were changed. Thank You.

As far as your question, I have not experimented with other functions to see if DCC Settings carry over at this time. I will update once I have looked into this further.

It may still be a nice enhancement request as someone above mentioned they would like this as an option as well.

Nate, just clouds. It sticks for other features.

for those wondering where to find this. /teach mode/ features/more features (the tiny box below add move)/dcc settings

Why is there a DCC param tick box for Cloud and Cross Section but not Surface Edge?
