Define and Measure a Hole Pattern

Post by ragin1 » Mon Jul 14, 2014 2:00 pm

How do I adjust the hit points in the Define & Measure Hole Pattern command under the Features Teach tab? I want to graphically move the points without trigging out each point in each circle of the bolt pattern. The bolt pattern shown has a good measurement path. I tried to measure the scallops as a bolt pattern, but CMM Manager will not allow me to adjust the points in the command. I measured each scallop as an arc then dcc remeasured. It would have been much quicker to define the bolt pattern and adjust each circle by dragging the hit points to the limits.

Program the circles individually to adjust point location(s) for each circle...

What exactly are you trying to do with manual CMM? Measure a round pattern of circles? If so, just measure a Circle and use Thumbtack to repeat the operation for all circles.
