Below is some information that describes how to export a Report from CMM-M for import into MiniTab.

1. Set Report Preference

From the System Pearl>Preferences>Report
Click the More button

In the Report Item Type: Report Header and Tolerance Report un-check all options

Save the inspection report as .CSV format

Hello,

We all know CMM Manager is able to export dynamically report to Excel or CSV file in real time. Is CMM Manager able to do the same thing to Minitab worksheet (maybe with VB script)?

Thanks

I think so... Is the file format for MiniTab data a human readable (i.e. text) format? If so, you could easily create a VB Script that writes to their format directly.

Is there simple VB script to dynamically send feature result to specific location in Excel without opening the Excel sheet although I am able to accomplish this through DDE function?

Thanks,
