How To: 2D Cloud Scan

Here is a brief How To for 2D Cloud Scan.

This could be programmed with or without CAD

From the Scan Ribbon tab select Cloud>2D as shown here:

The to setup a scan you must specify four parameters
1) Work-plane
2) Start Point
3) Direction to scan
4) End Point

Note: For each step you can pick from CAD or pick a feature or key-in

The scan path created will include motion to the Start point, scan towards the Direction point and finally stop scanning when the End point / boundary is crossed, all while following the irregular surface. An example is shown below in Orange.

Is possible to construct feature from cloud specific point not total cloud?. I need to construct circle and arc from some portion of cloud.
Any suggestion...

You can construct Points from Cloud and then Construct (Best Fit) the geometric shape such as circle, line, etc.
