Error (3, 1000, "{5057} Downloadable Not Found"

Post by Ryan-PDX » Mon Nov 19, 2018 1:40 pm

Long story short, CMM was running great friday

Shut it down for the weekend, came in today and was greeted to a new error

CMM Manager, Error (3, 1000, "[5057] Downloadable Not Found" Machine in Error State)

We have CMM Manager and UCC Server set to open together at the same time.
So during the loading between the 2, it has the error pop up.

I have restarted the machine, restarted the computer, still repeats same message.

Went into UCC Server, start session/clear errors and the error still pops up.

Its monday of a 3 day work week, I just wanted it to be quick and painless week.
Help!

The more I am clicking around, the more I think this is a UCC Server issue, not a CMM Manager Issue

This is a UCC Server issue. The downloadable file is .INI file that's generated after machine is commissioned in UCC Assist. Contact the company that installed UCC system, they can get Renishaw involved.

Until then, you could try rolling your PC back to Friday's state using Windows Restore Point backup, of course this assumes you have a restore point in the near past (before Friday)

Just out of curiosity... Why shut down your CMM over the weekend?
We never shut ours down anymore and this seems to keep us from having any weirdness as you are having.
CrashN8.... I'm curious as to your thoughts on us leaving our CMM always on? All we do is turn off our monitors. We do this with our CMM, Inspecvision and GOM. Thanks.

We leave seats of CMM-Manager running for months at a time here in development office... Either way, it should be just as stable if you shut down each night. If there is instability it's not due to software, it's most likely related to changes on PC such as Windows updates, security / AV software, etc.
