DCC DEA Global & Leitz protocol

Post by siegmarzaske » Tue Jul 28, 2015 9:40 am

i made some tests on our DEA Global Image with B3C CNC and Leitz protocol.

1) The cmm is terrible slow using CMM-Manager , even if i set the DCC params to max values.
2) Isn't it possible to set the acceleration params too ? :?:
3) Is there a flag to use the controllers FLY mode ?
No each move and probe is done after the other, no edge rounding of moves is applied
This because CMM-Manager only sends command by command to the CNC, no command batch is sent.

Is there anaybody who has experience with this setup ?

best regards

1) We use the same motion parameters that any client software would use since this data is stored on the controller for Leitz protocol.
2) Yes... From Preferences>DCC enable the acceleration option. You will then see the accel settings in Program Settings at the beginning of each project / program.
3)Not for this controller. CMM-M only supports Fly Mode on I++ controllers.
4) FYI... You didn't ask here but SP25 is not supported on Leitz controller. Here are controllers we support for SP25 - viewtopic.php?f=25&t=971
