Mitutoyo BRM507 PCI card / CPU

Post by imgmfg » Sun Apr 21, 2019 4:41 pm

We just got a used Mitutoyo BRM507 without the computer. The pci card we received is labeled Caliper Designs CDI-01 1997 Rev 1.0. Im trying to find out what computer is compatible with this style of universal PVI 3.3v 5.0v. We have a few workstations laying around, but from what I have read they all have pci express slots or newer mother boards.

Thanks, Damian

PC's still often include a full-sized PCI slot. You may just need to shop around.

A note on these caliper design cards:

Caliper design is no longer in business and these cards are known to eventually fail. I see more unworking cards than working ones.

If the shopping for a computer becomes a hassle, there is a relatively inexpensive USB option that Nikon offers. Send me an email if you would like to explore these options.
