COMUC-PCI VS COMUC-PCI2LF

Post by zman04 » Fri Feb 23, 2018 8:26 pm

Hello All,
I appoligies if this is posted twice. I posted a few hours ago and didn't see anything. I'm working on retrofitting a Mitutoyo Bright 707 CNC CMM. It now has an ISA COMUC card. I'm sourcing a COMUC-PCI card and found two different versions. One s COMUC-PCI and the other is COMUC-PCI2LF. I've attached pictures of both. Are they both the same? Please advise.
Thanks!!

I think either of these will be fine. The cards look the same to me and searching for the "2LF" designation does return some image results for other electronics. I am not sure what it means and the designation is not on the cards, so I cannot be certain, but I think you are safe with either.

You can of course contact Mitutoyo if you need to be certain.
