Re: Question about Alignment

So-called "canned" alignments are only manual - i.e. 3-2-1, Plane-Line-Circle, etc. Most DCC Alignments involve applying alignment to previously measured features with the exception of the point based Datum Alignment.

Re: Measuring and printing HOA (Height Over All)

You have the Feature Report open... This is just a list of measured features with Actual values only. Just double click on 'Default Report' right above where your mouse cursor is in the first image.

CMSJOE -this is a warning... I moved your new post back into this discussion. Please do not duplicate posts like this again. So making measuring programs is tedious to futile. so we do almost everything in feature mode. I don't understand how doing on-off work has any ...

NIST Algorithm Test Program

You may be familiar with PTB (3rd party) certification that tests fitting Algorithm of (typically) metrology software. You can find the PTB certificate for CMM-Manager here . Re: UCC Server Qualification

Keep in mind the "shape" of stylus tip may not be considered perfectly round by UCC Server - i.e. UCC Server will map the 'lobing error' as well as other form related error into the stylus. Depending on where the stylus contacts the workpiece, the Probe Comp applied by UCC may be altered. The real t...

Re: Combining multiple clouds for faster measurement

That's great news. Thanks for the update. It may not be as fast as combining all points into single Cloud Measurement, but will certainly be faster than previous version.
