Re: How to Measure Exhaust Hook

Not sure from the picture if the short end is a line or an arc. Either way intersect those at each end and get your distance from the two intersecting points.

1. Go to the CMM Manager download page and download your version. (don't run it, just save to a location on your pc)
2. Unzip the file.
3. Run "CadConverterInstaller_x64.exe"
Thanks Ryan. That worked out great.

CAD Conversion Module

I'm receiving the following message on one of our CMM's. Where is the CAD conversion module I need to install? I didn't see it in the Nikon files.

Re: DCC Move/Touch Acceleration Settings

Does the "Enable change of move and touch acceleration" button supposed to be checked or not? TIA I guess that depends on whether you want to edit these values or not. If you get an error like this then, yes check this box. Next open a new Program and double click the Program Settings Program opera...

DCC Move/Touch Acceleration Settings

We have two CMM's running CMM Manager 3.6 SP2. A brown & sharpe Global and an Excel. We recently retro fitted our Global and been getting the following Touch and Move acceleration errors (see pics). I also noticed that the DCC Settings are different for this for each machine. They do have different ...

Re: Feature numbers?

Did you make copies of any features as you programmed? I think this is standard naming suffix as specified in Preferences>General>Program Copy & Paste Yes, there are copies but not that many. Only one of each. Not sure why it's showing such high numbers. Every time I open that feature, it changes t...

Feature numbers?

Not sure how to explain this one. I have a program that has extra feature/characteristic numbers after them. Every time I open up the report step or DDE step it adds another number after it.

How do I reset this? or undo all of these numbers. It gets confusing. Thank you.

Re: How To: Operation Planner

Yes, I have multiple reports set up. I have a main program that I have created 2 sub programs from. They each have their own reports that get saved as pdf's along with the default report. The default report is being saved every time even though I do not want it to save when I run the sub programs. T...

Re: How To: Operation Planner

Thank you for this great tutorial. I followed it and used the operation planner for the first time. I can really see the benefit of this function. My question is; How do you deal with all the reports when you run the operation planner? We automatically save all reports and now that I created an oper...

Re: True position report for hex

I am having the same issue currently. Just received a print with a few hex holes and they want true position of the hex holes with MMC. Like the previous post asked, can we just create a circle from the intersection of the hex lines and report the position of that? My boss does not want to report pr...
